Nigel Gavin

Nigel Gavin, mandolinist / guitarist / banjoist for the group and, like Hershal, a Jewish New Yorker, was a member of Robert Fripp’s League of Crafty Guitarists, with which he toured extensively throughout Europe and the USA.

In New Zealand, he was the founder of the legendary Gitbox Rebellion and remains a highly respected solo guitarist with three albums of original compositions to his credit.

Gavin has toured and recorded with many well-known New Zealand performing artists and was for many years Aunti-Clockwise in the much-loved children’s music theatre group The Aunties.
